East Zhejiang Bank
East Zhejiang Bank was established in April 1945, in Hengkantou Village of Liangnong Town. It once set up institutions like head office, branches, sub-branches, offices and so on.

East Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Memorial
The People’s Government of Zhejiang Province established “East Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Memorial” in the original site where Chinese Communist Party Committee of East Zhejiang once was located. Wang Fang, former Secretary of Chinese Communist Party of Zhejiang Province, inscribed the name of the memorial. Zhang Aiping, former Minister of National Defense inscribed the monument at the entrance of the memorial “Old Site of Chinese Communist Party Committee of East Zhejiang”.

Behind Enemy Delegation Meeting Room in East Zhejiang
The old site lies in the former Zhengmeng Primary School in Liangnong Town. In that year, 108 representatives from all circles and parties in East Zhejiang managed to break the enemy’s blockage and gathered there participating in delegation meetings. It is now the key cultural relic protection unit in Yuyao city.

Revolutionary Martyrs Monument on Siming Mountain
The monument lies in Zhangshui Town of Yinzhou District. It was established in November 1973 and enlarged in 2001. The whole grand monument is quite close to Siming Lake and its surrounding sight is quite beautiful. There are five steps and 219 stone ladders from the foot to the top of the mountain. The monument, made up of granite, is 18.5 meters high. And there is an inscription by Guo Moruo, that is, “Revolutionary Martyrs are Immortal”.

Headquarters Site of East Zhejiang Guerrillas of the New Fourth Army
The old site lies in Xiaoling Street of Liangnong Town, which used to inhabit residents of the Qing Dynasty. In 1992, the People’s Government of Yuyao City fully renovated the old site. There are important historical materials of the guerrilla forces and it is a city-level patriotic education base in Yuyao.

General Zhang Xueliang’s First Immuration Place
General Zhang Xueliang’s First Immuration Place lies in the central basin of Xuedou Mountain surrounded by nine peaks. It faces the Xuedou Temple in the east, a “thousand-year-old temple”. Founded in 1934, the place used to be the sub-agency of China (Shanghai) Travel Service in Xikou. And after the breakout of “Xi’an Event”, General Zhang Xueliang was sent there to “be controlled strictly”.

Red Mountain and Water
Red Mountain and Water lies in the hinterland of Siming Mountain in Yuyao. As a bright pearl in stretching and undulating Siming Mountain, it occupies an area of 6.05 square kilometers. The scenic area is so natural and characterized by copious Taoist culture and thick flavor of ancient eastern villages in Zhejiang.

Tengtou Ecological Scenic Spot
Listed one of the first group of AAAA-ranked scenic spot and one of the global top 500 ecological regions, Ningbo Tengtou Ecological Scenic Spot lies six kilometers north of the downtown in Fenghua. You can pick the freshest strawberries and peaches here.

Nine-peak Mountain
The Nine-peak Mountain lies in Beilun District with a total area of 38 kilometers. There are characteristic mountains, waters, forests, valleys, and lakes. People are able to enjoy the view, pay respect to Buddha, experience the folk custom, and have a relaxation.

 

Five Dragon Pond
Lying in Longguan Village, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, the pond is a national AAAA-level scenic attraction. It is set against the backdrop of natural landscape; it is the manifestation of Chinese dragon culture and the east Zhejiang folk customs.

Tianyi Pavilion Museum
Tianyi Pavilion Museum, characterized by the culture of book collection, is an all-round integration of social history and art. It occupies an area of 26,000 square kilometers. The environment is elegant and refined, and the simple and unsophisticated building is full of local flavor. The general layout is composed of three big functional regions, namely the district of book collection, of exhibition and of relaxation in the garden.

Mah-jongg Museum
The exhibition museum for cradle land of mah-jongg shows the origin of mah-jongg and its historical link with Ningbo. Tourists are sure to be shocked by the unique culture of memorial temple and exquisite folk craftwork, which was founded in the 1920s. This museum was listed the fifth batch of national units of cultural relic protection.

Hemudu Site
Until now in China, Hemudu site is one of the earliest sites in new Stone Age. The total area reaches 40,000 square meters. Four cultural layers are pressed against each other. It is measured that the lowest layer dates back to 7,000 years ago. The site reflects in full scale the prosperous spectacle in Chinese primitive matriarchal clan period and offers a very precious substantial proof for the research on Eastern Civilization like agriculture, architecture, textile and art in that period. It is one of the most important archaeological discoveries since the foundation of China.

Zhaobao Hill
Zhaobao Hill lies 1.5 kilometers northeast of Zhenhai District, Ningbo. The scenic attraction is next to Yong River and East China Sea. The view of mountain and sea is spectacular and magnificent. For its strategic position, it used to be one of the major battlefields where the Chinese people fight against Japan, Britain, France and so on.

Liangzhu Cultural Park
Ningbo is the birthplace of the story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. The major part of the park is Liang Shanbo Temple and the plot is all about the love story happened between them. There you will find scenic spots like Loving Pavilion, Sculpture of LiangZhu’s Changing into Butterflies, Wansong Study, Saint Liang’s Temple and so on. There goes a saying “ If a couple wants to be together forever, they’d better visit Liangzhu Cultural Park”.

Cicheng
Cicheng has kept the complete Chinese conventional town shape of “The streets and rivers lie like a double chessboard”, which is rare in South China and the whole country as a whole. Chinese traditional Confucian culture is highly shown here.
