Days ago, an executive meeting of the state council of the PRC was held by Premier Wen Jiabao, deploying policies and solutions on how to further promote the sound development of the light industry in China. On the very meeting, Chairman Mr. Chen Shineng from China National Light Industry Council, who is in charge of the national light industry in China, put forth an instruction that China International Housing and Furnishing Exposition held annually in Ningbo be developed. He said: ¡°Under the great backdrop of enlarging the inner demand and promoting the economic growth, CHFE is supposed to fully cooperate with exhibitors and to be confident that we can make challenges well into opportunities and even advantages¡±. Later, Chairman Chen asked Ms. Fang Min, Director of Exhibition Center of China Light Industry and Secretary-General of CHFE Organizing Committee to communicate this very issue with us, Executor of CHFE here in Ningbo.
Thus comes out our decision that in the coming year, we are to pay more attention to the promotion of investment and consumption, to make it much easier for exhibitors to be part of us, and to meet needs from professional buyers and the general public.

On Nov. 19, 2008, Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and Ningbo Municipal People¡¯s Government held a meeting, deploying a series of policies to help increase inner demand and promote a sound development of the economy. On the meeting, it is decided that in the coming 2 years, 80 billion RMB from the government and 300 billion RMB from social investment are to be put into use with the purpose of bringing the general public a peace and happy life, and of developing the countryside further, etc.
